One of the extension modules shown below can be docked onto each of the 3 basic modules.
The basic Futura Compact module can also be operated as a functional column without an instrument cabinet; the Futuras with light module require an instrument cabinet.
It is not possible to mount a microscope on the stand-alone Futura Compact.
